Frequently asked questions

My artwork is damaged in transit, what do I do?


Step 1 – Within three (3) days of your artwork delivery date, please email hellochelsart@gmail.com and give me your order information.

Step 2 - Save all original packaging.

Step 3 - Take photos of damaged artwork and packaging. Please email these photos to hellochelsart@gmail.com

Step 4 - I will contact you to discuss next steps.




Gift wrapping and packaging


Artwork is normally shipped in a bubble mailer envelope, unless otherwise stated.

Most artwork will be presented in tissue wrapping. Please contact me if you wish to arrange gift wrapping for an extra fee.

Larger items are placed in a cardboard gift box.




My artwork is missing


If your package does not turn up within the expected timeframe, please contact me and I will do my best to rectify the situation.

**Please note that I don't consider a parcel 'lost' in the post until it has been a full 30 days by Australia Post.**

Normally this time is much shorter, but due to the large shipping delays because of COVID-19, the timeframe has been extended.




How long will it take to recieve my artwork?


On average, within Australia you should recieve your artwork within fourteen (14) days from purchasing. If you are needing your artwork sooner, contact me on hellochelsart@gmail.com for expedited shipping.




How much for shipping


Shipping costs do vary depending on the item and your location. However, most items ship for a flat fee Within Australia: $10.50 registered post. Australian customers can add Express Post to their order, just contact me prior to ordering for updated fee. Outside of Australia: At the moment I am not shipping internationally phyical items.




How to return an original, undamagedartwork


Step 1 – Within seven (7) days of your artwork delivery date, please email me at hellochelsart@gmail.com to give me your order information and the reason for wanting to return the work. Step 2 – Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing similar acid free packaging materials to send the artwork back safely and securely to me. Please contact me for advice if needed. Step 3 – Email hellochelsart@gmail.com to complete the return process. Once the piece safely reaches me, I will process your return and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment in the same currency (minus shipping costs and international customs fees, if any). Damaged art work caused by improper packaging will not be refunded.
